A sleek redesign of Alive Entertainment's visual brand to reflect the high-energy, professionalism and deep music knowledge of their DJs.
Creating high-energy atmospheres is what Alive Ent. is all about, and their new brand needed to reflect that.
"Bringing the Energy" has been Alive Ent.'s slogan since the beginning, so it made sense to make this the new brand's guiding North Star as well. Having a high-energy look and feel to all of their content was paramount.
Although they wanted a high-energy, youthful feel, Alive Ent. also needed to establish themselves as reliable, knowledgeable professionals. With these guiding principles, I delivered them a sleek, professional new brand with just a little street grit.
Taking inspiration from rock and hip-hop music aesthetics, and borrowed icons from sound equipment, the additional marks help to portray industry knowledge.
Additional secondary and tertiary marks serve to expand the visual brand.
The color palette was pared back to its essentials, only leaving room for high-contrast, punchy graphics.
Wheat paste poster, concrete textures and black/white photography work with the palette to create a youthful, urban feel.
The marks, type, color palette, and textures combine for original print and digital media content.
